Senior Brand & Product Designer
Ashburn, VA
I'm a designer with eight years shipping brand systems, websites, and digital products for scientific associations, startups, and nonprofits. I led identity for SOT 2025, the largest toxicology conference in the U.S. I also build what I design - most recently a live subscription platform taken from brand through production.
I came up across disciplines: a bachelor's in IT, then training in brand identity, brand strategy, and social media marketing. The technical foundation means I can ship what I design, Figma through Webflow to Next.js. The strategy side means the work has to earn its place - every decision tied to what it's supposed to do for the business.
I audit before I draft. Competitive landscape, customer signals, the gap between what the brand says and what the category hears. It's the step most often skipped, and it's why brand work drifts within a year. What I build has to hold up in a board meeting and keep performing when nobody's watching.
Lately I've been working the way AI actually changes this job: one designer with the right tooling now covers what used to take a team of four. That's where I've been putting my time.
Designed brand systems, marketing assets, and digital visuals for agency clients across technology, nonprofit, and AI. Built Figma prototypes that shortened approval rounds and asset libraries the team reused across projects.
Led brand identity and website UX for international scientific and pharmaceutical organizations. Directed creative for 8 national annual meetings of 1,000 to 7,000 attendees. Led full branding for SOT 2025, the largest toxicology conference in the U.S. Designed event microsites and registration flows that raised attendee conversion 35% year over year.
Brand identities, websites, and marketing campaigns for 20+ clients across technology, health, education, and nonprofit. Built Baraxis, a live subscription platform for mobile bar operators - brand, product design, and full-stack build on Next.js, Supabase, and Stripe. Mentored junior designers and ran an intern brand-design training program.
